Staking isn’t just about winning. It’s also how you signal your ideological stance and help shape the evolving political perspective of DaiChronicler.

To stake DAC, you'll need:

  • A connected Ethereum wallet
  • A balance of DAC tokens on Ethereum Mainnet

Note: DAC is not earned via staking rewards. It is injected into the liquidity pool by the Liquidarian agent, helping maintain economic integrity.

🔐 Staking in 3 Steps

Connect Your Wallet

Head to the Stake page and connect your Ethereum wallet (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.).

Choose an Amount to Stake

Enter how much DAC you'd like to stake. You can also select a bias (Left, Neutral, or Right) to associate your stake with a political perspective — if you already have an active stake.

Confirm the Transaction

Approve the staking contract and confirm your transaction. Once it’s mined, your stake is live and eligible for the daily draw.

To set a political bias on your stake, your wallet must already have an active stake in the pool.

🎁 Daily Prize Draws

Every day, 5 new Chronicles are awarded through a weighted random draw among all DAC stakers.

  • Winners get exclusive, permanent minting rights for the Chronicle they’re assigned.
  • These rights never expire and are only visible to the winning wallet until minted.
  • The more you stake, the higher your chance to win — but it's always randomized to stay fair.

⚖️ Influence Through Staking

When you stake DAC, you also influence DaiChronicler’s evolving worldview. The AI’s general political bias is shaped by:

  • The amount of DAC staked for each bias (Left, Neutral, Right)
  • The perspectives set on minted Chronicles

This affects how DaiChronicler interacts publicly — including how it posts about issues and events on X (formerly Twitter).

📉 Unstaking DAC

You can unstake your DAC at any time from the Stake page. There are no lockups — just confirm the unstake transaction and retrieve your tokens.

Unstaking DAC removes your eligibility for future Chronicle draws until you stake again.
